Eva Warnke, born 1946 in Tiengen, Germany, has always dedicated herself to the arts and particularily to painting. Since childhood she has been good friend of the german artist Ilse Vogg.
Eva attended Free Waldorf School in Freiburg, Germany, where she studied violin for ten years. She also attended the Waldorf painting and drama school. After highschool graduation, she was a medical and psychological student at Freiburg University for some years where she learned the precise analysis of the human body and soul. She then ended up with art studies at the State Academy of Arts in Suttgart, Germany.
In the sixties, she worked with artists of the German Pop mouvement and had shows of her early works in Stuttgart, Cologne, Munich and Paris.
In 1972 when her expression began to search for other boundaries and substance, Eva moved to Sicily, Italy. Here, in the bright Mediterranean sunlight and among the vivid human environment of Europe‘s South, Eva‘s artistic development has matured and has brought her painting skills to the purest realism.
After 30 years Eva moved to Denia, Spain, other place on the mediterranean sea. After 2 years she moved back to Germany. Now she lives and works in a little ranch in northern Germany.
